| This
three day workshop will explore jewelry
making using metal clay techniques.
(Precious Metal Clay, PMC) Come with you
your ideas and sketches and receive one on
one help as well as group instruction. In
this class, foundation skills (rolling,
texturing, coiling, slip coating, beadmaking,
etc.) as well as intermediate and advanced
techniques (stonesetting, enameling, water
etching, carving etc. ) will be learned and
practiced. In addition there will be
instructor demonstrations on soldering
techniques for fine silver and dichroic
glass fusing. Each participant will go home
with several pieces of finished jewelry.
Firing is included and will be done by
instructor. Class is appropriate for all
levels. Materials will be available for
purchase from the instructor including PMC,
gemstones, gold and silver foil. |
