Join the Sedona Arts Center Volunteer Team!

"Wow! What a great place!

This was my initial reaction when taken to the Sedona Arts Center for the first time. And that is the beginning of a wonderful journey for me.

My name is Joanie Wolter and the Arts Center has played a huge role in my life since moving to Sedona. Having no formal background in the arts, I was like a "blank page" when taking my first class. I had no interest in or expectations of becoming an artist. I just wanted to experience something new and try different things. This is what I did. I took classes in precious metal clay, sketching, colored pencil, and finally in ceramics. Here is where I found my passion, and here is where I started a new phase in my life."
