Arts For The New Year!
Sedona Arts Center’s 2016 Year-end Appeal
Sedona’s Creative Heart
The past year has been one of growth, discovery, and new partnerships for the Arts Center. Our executive director, Eric Holowacz, finished his first year at the helm; we welcomed Valerie Pulido as Membership and Community Relations Coordinator; two community leaders, Paul Amadio and Rebecca Ellis, joined our Board of Directors; and seven local artists were juried into our gallery.
Cultural programming expanded with Sedona Ukulele Posse, new Crash Courses for beginning artists, the opening of a satellite community arts space at The Collective in the Village of Oak Creek, and the inaugural year of America’s newest creative residency program, Sedona Summer Colony.
Behind the scenes, our Board leadership began moving to a Policy Governance framework in a step towards becoming Sedona’s 21st century model nonprofit organization. Our membership has grown, and we launched a major donor group, the Patron Circle.
We hope you will agree that 2016 has been an extraordinary year for the arts in our community. As we look to 2017, Sedona Arts Center is calling on members and supporters to ensure that the coming year is even more interesting,
exciting, and creative.
Want an undeniably creative New Year?
Help us in 2017 by making a charitable contribution to the Arts Center’s Year-end Campaign, and your donation will sustain summer art camps for local children, rollicking ukulele sessions, free exhibitions and gallery demonstrations, more plein air paint outs around the community, expanded artist-in-residence programming, one of Northern Arizona’s best ceramics studios, and so much more!
To make a generous pledge in support of an extraordinary 2017 in Sedona, just complete the form to the right, or stop by our office in the historic Art Barn!
For a longer-lasting gift, designate Sedona Arts Center in your will, trust, or life insurance policy—and we’ll ensure that your generosity supports the creative community forever. Our Board of Directors recently established the Nassan Gobran Legacy Society for donors who wish to plan a bequest or legacy gift to support the arts in Sedona.
A new permanent endowment, managed ever after in support of our organization and its mission, will ensure a donor’s perpetual arts support. Please consider helping Sedona Arts Center forever, by leaving us in your will or pledging a major gift, real property, or securities.
Doing that, and becoming part of our Nassan Gobran Legacy Society, is as easy as completing and returning the form to the right—to begin the conversation about your own Sedona arts legacy.
