Nancy Bihler
For six years Nancy studied with Charles
Kacsur in his Sedona studio. Kacsur, who was a
master jeweler and had been an industrial arts
teacher in New York, taught her all the basics
of silversmithing and jewelry fabrication as
well as lapidary, handmade sphere-making,
woodworking, and general shop skills. All of
Nancy's silver and gold jewelry is completely
hand-fabricated and that includes her chains.
She is a member of the Sedona Gem and Mineral
Club and participates in rockhounding trips to
find material for her high-quality cabochons and
also attends many gem and mineral shows to have
access to unique cabs from around the world. The
cabochon pictured is from Madagascar. |
