Deanne McKeown
"I combined my love of science and graphic
design through a career in medical
illustration…and find my background in medical
illustration has been a tremendous asset to my
recent work in sculpture." A graduate of the
Kansas City Art Institute, Deanne has explored a
variety of media over the years including
painting, graphic design, printmaking, fiber,
leaded glass, and, finally, bronze sculptures.
She has been a Sedona resident since 1979 and,
during that time, has owned two galleries in
Tlaquepaque as well as co-authoring three major
surgical atlases and a physiology text.
