Betsey Nelson
Now working as a full-time artist, Betsey
collaborates on continuing workshops with other
artists and teaches classes in oil painting for
still life, landscape, portrait, watercolor
studies, charcoal, and pastels. Recent shows
include Florence Biennale in Florence, Italy,
2005 and 2007; finalist in Ray Mar online
competition, 2006; Scottsdale's best and
brightest, 2006 and previous years; Viewpoint:
Cincinnati, first place 2006.
Her professional training was at the University
of Massachusetts with graduate studies at the
University of Maine and art studies at the
Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in
Annapolis, MD. |
