Sedona Ukulele Posse Rounding Up in 2017!
Learn to play this little jewel of an instrument by joining the Sedona Ukulele Posse. Sedona Arts Center and Tommy Anderson, founder and driving force behind the Jerome Ukulele Orchestra and owner of the Tommy Rocks music store in Jerome, launched a new musical force last year and we are continuing the fun on the first Wednesday of every month through 2017. This class is open to all levels – rank beginners to seasoned pros - and we learn to play a variety of songs, from classic standards to classic rock, and everything in between. There will be opportunities to perform for those who are interested, or if you are happy to learn and play just for your own enjoyment, it’s all good!
When you pay in advance for the year, the cost is $10/class. Not sure if you will be able to come every time? No problem – you can pay $15 at the door. If you don’t already have a ukulele, there are a few loaners available for the evening.
Scheduled 2017 dates - all on the first Wednesday of the month (except May which will be on the second Wednesday): 3/1, 4/5, 5/10 (2nd Wed.), 6/7, 7/5, 8/2, 9/6, 10/4, 11/1, 12/6
